$10,000 Funding Support Secured For KWA Athletes and Coaches

KWA President, Walt Missingham, has today announced a $10,000 funding support package for our International Team Members.  Walt advised:

“It is with great pleasure I can today announce the roll out of our first $10,000 support package for our International Team members. The funds being made available are a direct consequence of the success of our ‘members insurance program’ with the no claims rebates being directly reapplied to the benefit of our organisation and our athletes and coaches. For many years our coaches, athletes and team managers have selflessly carried the financial burden of representing Australia in international competition so it is great to be able to give something back to those who contribute so much to our sport.”

The fund will be administered by the KWA National Events Committee (NEC) and will be applied this year to our team attending the World Wushu Championships in Shanghai.
